My Beginnings
NURIA TORRENTE
I am a Makeup Artist born and raised in Barcelona. I have been in love with art for as long as I can remember. My family always said that I had a brush in hand before I even knew how to walk. I started my education in 2013 at Cazcarra Makeup School in Barcelona, studying Makeup Art and Prosthetics.
I began working as a MUA that same year, participating in many different areas of the entertainment industry, including fashion shows, television, and films, as well as events such as weddings, baptisms, and communions.

My Career
In 2014, I moved to Los Angeles to attend the Cinema Makeup School to gain more experience, improve on my skills, and learn new techniques from some of the industry’s best makeup and SFX artists.
In 2015 I received my Makeup, Prosthetics and FX Master’s Degree from CMS and have had exciting opportunities in photo, film and television. I was also extremely honored to present some of my work at Monsterpalooza and Son of Monsterpalooza (2016) in Pasadena at the invitation of the legendary Rick Baker of the Gremlins.
My Work
Since concluding my education, I have since worked as a makeup artist for commercials, art photography, television and film sets.
I find inspiration in all my surroundings, I love embarking on new projects and learning new skills, and I am proud to continually challenge myself outside of my comfort zone.
I have a lot of charisma and enthusiasm, which helps keep me motivated to always improve my craft and to never give up until I succeed.
